Beka Feathers is an adviser on political development in conflict affected states. She has advised governments, non-state groups, and civil society organizations on peace processes, transitional governance and access to justice. in more than a dozen countries.

Prior to opening her own consulting firm, Beka served with the Bureau for Conflict & Stabilization Operations at the U.S. Department of State and as counsel with the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG). In addition to her work on conflict, she has developed education and transportation policy for the Oregon State Legislature. She is the author of Re:Constitutions: Connecting Citizens With the Rules of the Game (First Second Press 2021), with art by Kasia Babis, and Why the People: The Case for Democracy, with art by Ally Schwed (First Second Press 2022).
